Lingon Bars

A classic that is often much appreciated when we are in stores demonstrating our delicious lingonberry jam. Easy to make and perfect for freezing.


Ingredients

  • 150 g room-temperature butter
  • 1 egg
  • 4 1/2 dl flour
  • 1 1/2 dl sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder

Topping

  • 2 dl lingonberry jam
  • 2 dl rolled oats
  • 1 dl sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 50 g butter

Beat the butter until smooth and whisk in the egg. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and stir into the butter mixture. Spread the batter in a greased baking pan.

Spread the lingonberry jam over the cake, mix rolled oats with sugar, vanilla sugar and melted butter. Cover the lingonberry jam with the oat mixture. Bake the cake for about 20 minutes on the lowest rack. Oven temperature 200 degrees.

Let cool and cut into pieces. Enjoy!
